  A single-layer glass reaction vessel is a versatile chemical laboratory and production equipment that combines various functions, such as heating, cooling, stirring, vacuum, reflux, and distillation, using borosilicate glass as the primary reaction container.

  Unlike double-glazed reaction vessels, single-layer vessels do not have an integrated jacket layer for indirect heat exchange. Their temperature control typically relies on external heat sources (such as electric heaters, water baths, or oil baths) directly wrapping or immersing the vessel body, or through heat exchange via tubes within the vessel. Due to its fully transparent visibility, corrosion resistance, ease of operation, and cost-effectiveness, the single-layer glass reaction vessel has become an indispensable basic equipment in laboratory research, pilot exploration, and pilot production, earning the nickname of the “transparent eye” of chemists.
